There are several reasons for the large vibration of vacuum pump:

The working principle of the water ring vacuum pump is to use the change of volume to realize vacuum pumping. The rotor is biased in the pump. The rotation forms a liquid ring in which the working fluid floats in the same direction along the inner wall of the pump casing. At this time, between the two adjacent blades, the hub of the impeller and the name of the liquid ring, the volume of the gas chamber gradually increases in the intake area of the pump, and its external pressure rises to suck the gas into the pump, the volume of the same gas chamber gradually expands in the exhaust area, and the external pressure is restored.
During operation, from the maximum intake area to the exhaust area, the pump has been in a high vacuum state. The normal design limit relative pressure of the vacuum pump is 3.3kPa. When the pressure is low, the cavitation in the pump is more serious and the pump body vibrates. With the recovery of vacuum (I. e., the rise of pressure), steam corrosion and vibration deepen, the water ring also increases, the blade load increases sharply, the large tensile stress formed by high vacuum acts on the blade, which easily leads to the fatigue damage of the blade. This scenario is often manifested in the status of the impeller's casting shortcomings. The vacuum pump runs for a short time under the harsh conditions of steam and water corrosion, which not only shortens the life of the bearing due to vibration, but also greatly shortens the service life of the impeller.
